The Georgia O’Keeffe Museum in Santa Fe has over 3,000 works by the artist in their collection, and displays them in revolving exhibitions that promote the influence of her work from the rise of American Modernism to contemporary practices. On view during our visit were several of O’Keeffe’s paintings inspired by New Mexico, some of her student work, and photographs of her taken by Alfred Stieglitz, as well as many personal items like her paint box and travel books.
