The exhibition of only three works offers a juxtaposition of influences in the span of twenty years. Untitled (stacked cubes) from 2016 resemble shipping crates teetering atop one another, but made of the same brown plastic as contemporary park and playground furniture—monuments to commercial manufacturing processes. In the Martel space around the corner, Untitled (donuts) from 1996 references 1970s handmade processes (think hacky sacks and bean bag chairs).
